I'm closing on this home this week - and am trying to find some ideas for the Living room which is open and connected to the Dining room. I'm really happy with the bones of the house and am excited to give it some attention (it was built in the 90s as evidenced by the light fixtures and kitchen cabinets).

I'm really attracted to grays for the living room (although I may have to do something else there, as I also like gray for the master bedroom!), and am thinking of a deep/bright blue for the dining. My furniture is a transitional/modern black leather. I also think it'd be cool to make the Fireplace really pop. Fans & light fixtures will of course also be changed soon enough!
