Anyone recognize this guy?

This is Sentry. He is the tiniest, darkest hummingbird I’ve ever seen. He’s also claimed my feeders as his and is fiercely protective—smacking into other hummers frequently as well as chasing off any other winged creature unlucky enough to enter his territory. He tolerates a few ruby throated females... sorta. He chases the ladies off as well if they linger too long. His rust colored throat is only visible when he’s flying. Is he a young ruby-throated male or a different kind altogether? I’m in Huntsville, Alabama, by the way. Thanks!
