White exterior Black interior windows

We are remodeling a beautiful old colonial and want new white exterior windows with black interior with colonial muntins. We want to keep the old school charm on the outside with a more modern feel on the inside. Do any companies do this???? And what windows do you guys recommend? We are looking for higher end windows. We live in the chicago suburbs.

I have only see these windows available with the opposite combo too! I just really want white outside black inside. I really think it will be great. We would like the factory finished if possible. Do you know of anyone willing to do this? Thanks for your reply by the way.

Interesting combo. That color combo is probably most requested flipped around. Do you want a factory finished interior or do you have a painter that you will be using?

Have you considered going with a dark stain? Seems to be some thought that the stain holds up better than the paint on the interiors if you can go with it. That will also open up your options a bit more with regards to suppliers.

There are many beautiful old houses with black windows IMO a much more elegant look than white

I agree with you completely! Ours is a white colonial and all the pictures I have seen with black windows on a white home make the windows look like a black hole. That is my fear of the black exterior windows on a white home that needs shutters to complete the look. What are your thoughts?

We actually are doing this exact combination on our home right now. Our siding is dark grey and so we went with white windows because they popped next to the dark siding. Inside I fell in love with all the interior black window pictures and opted to black inside. We got our windows from Andersen and they were able to do that combo for us.

Reena Giese - it was their e-series. Btw - we are weeks from completion and I LOVE the white outside with the black inside look!

Anyone mind loading a picture of your windows with this combo? We are selecting windows and my builder is concerned about where the two colors meet in the glass? Make sense? I am adamant that this is what I want. Thanks!! We too are looking at Anderson E series.

Check out Pella windows. Their website lets you choose the interior & exterior colors, separately, on certain lines.
