Modern colors for bedroom wall.

Im having a hard time picking which color to paint my room.. Im a little worried that i might pick a color that will make it look dark and boring. I was hoping to go for a modern relaxing look or anything that will give the room life. Please help.. Thank you.

Do you have fabrics picked out for the bed or windows? It's best to start with fabric choices and then pick wall color.

Can you post a picture of your room with furniture? Blue is the most relaxing color ... very light lavender, pinks, greens and grays are calming as well. Will you be keeping your current bedding as well?
