Imagine my horror when my first, one and only, yellow flower dropped off in my hands two days after it opened.. I have no idea why it couldn't hang on longer to its little stem but off it came without a blink of an eye.. A brainwave struck and I put it into shallow glass custard cup with a little water.. Three days later it still looks absolutely pristine and not worse for the wear. I am absolutely amazed.. Has anyone else put Adenium flowers in water and seen them do well with their little soak?. Just curious.. I might start bringing in more flowers this way and see which ones do best.. They sure do make a pretty table decoration.
