Back splash help needed

I will slowly be changing the paint color scheme from the burnt orange to a light gray to compliment the wood ceiling and pretty counter tops. For the tin tile I need help. I love whites, light grays and neutrals. Can you help me with some alternative for the tin black splash without tearing it off? Colors to paint? Would rustic looking work?
