Funny you should ask, Moni! LOLOL Our new little family member, Tiny, showed up on our deck 6 weeks ago. A beautiful red/orange coat with cute little white markings on chest and feet. And a tail 2" long. Little bitty thing, weighed 1.3 lbs, we and the vet estimated him to be 7 weeks old. Tiny Dude is a charmer. Fell in love with him on the spot. Personality plus. As I am wont to do, I was fascinated. Even at 7 weeks old, he was outgoing, confident, loving, unafraid. He loved our Tom and Jerry cats and our great big Titan dog, and GDW and me. I've been a cat person all my life, and this one was a keeper! And 6 weeks later, he's still got us all under his spell, and now weighs 5 lbs. I think Tiny Dude is not going to be tiny in 2 more years. He fits the description of the American bobtail cat to a T. So we'll call him Tiny or Tiny Dude until he's full grown, and then maybe we'll just call him Dude. :)

He has an enviable physique already, now at 13 weeks, tall powerful hindquarters. Very muscular, as the link below says. But his personality is what is the most enchanting. He LOVES his peeps, and strangers, too, and is very clever and smart and funny. I DO think that what you took the picture of was one of these. You might want to watch out for him/her again, to ascertain whether he/she is a pet or looking for a home. I bet it's a pet.
