I think thats What I would do , I am not particularly fond of its shape , but I like them short

Any grafting you do would have to wait now until summer of next year now, unless you have under good artificial light. Then, I would still wait until next year.

Both Root stock and scion recipient would have to be Actively growing.

The plant in Question (in photo’s) looks to have a lot of tissue damage going right down the one side of it. You would want healthy tissue the whole circumference of the plant.

Difficult to say, but I feel this plant will not amount to much for caudex growth. Depends on what you want. Nothing wrong with using it as a tool to practice grafting.

Guess I will just plant him up. I will play with him next season. Do the V graft just to play with it and use the scions on something else. Work in progress!
