I hate the fall. Lol.

I just like spring. It’s like The beginning of life, fresh and new, and fall just seems like the end... but i know lots of people love the fall... :)

I'm a hot weather gal, but I do decorate for fall. What I like decorating for fall is the stuff stays up from mid September till just after Thanksgiving. All I do is add the Halloween decorations to the fall decorations and then add the Thanksgiving decorations when Halloween is over. I actually haven't decorated yet, but have joe pyle weed and golden rod I collected from the field hanging to dry. I also went down the road and collected some cat o nine tails, soaked them in mop n glow and dried them. I will use them with some of the small pumpkins I grew, fake leaves, and mums to decorate the outdoor planters and window boxes.

Love your use of the naturals, too! There are so many creative things to gather right from one's own yard. Growing up in the woods during the summer, mom would take out her stash of cat tails and soak them in kerosene, once dried, the ends were lit for smoking as they were used to ward off mosquitoes for when we sat outside or fished down by the pier.
