The wood wall would ideally be the same material as the floors. If replacing isn't realistic, try staining/faux finishing the wall:

Option 1: match floors

Option 2: dark brown or charcoal-grey/black stain

I think it's the red and honey tones in the wood that throws it off right now. you can also try white-washing the wood, but that would disappear on the white wall.

For the island, you have many more options, and given your floor/wall/furniture taste, I would go with a strong accent color:

-Dark Blue/Grey is pretty popular and safe, but still makes a strong statement.

-Orange?

-Red?

-Chartreuse?

Throw any of the those colors into a Houzz photo search ("blue grey kitchen island" for instance) and you'll see plenty of examples..
