Why are my nagamis dying?

Hi everyone. I need help with my seed-grown nagami kumquats. I started them almost four years ago, and until recently everything was going just fine. Then this spring I noticed some of the leaves were yellowing and dropping off. I assumed this was normal and new leaves were appearing anyway. But the leaves starting to really come off over the past couple of months. Two of my five plants have die within the few weeks and now a third is suffering - having lost half of its leaves over the past few days.

What's going on here? I started them on Miracle-Gro Cactus Palm and Citrus but this earlier this year I switched over to Espoma Organic Cactus Mix because I heard bad things about Miracle-Gro. I also switched them over to Espoma Citrus Tone after having them on Foliage-Pro for a couple of years. I don't know if it's the Espoma but there was trouble before I made the switch.

Below is the kumquat that currently suffering, both before all of this started and now. Please help!
