I'm looking at purchasing two pendant lights for a staircase with high ceilings. House is an updated cape cod style with a narrow curved (pie shaped stairs) staircase. I think the a pair of Moravian Star lights would look nice with the high ceilings, but am a bit concerned that the lights will put all kinds of shadows on the stair walls making it too busy looking when they are on. I don't mind some shadow on the ceilings. Open to other pendant ideas too.
