It's hard to tell just from that photo (kind of limited), but I think shutters in that room would look rad. also, I think sometimes we feel like we need to cover every open space on our walls, which I really don't think is all that necessary. play around with it. Maybe a piece of art on one side and a slim bookcase on the other? looks like a lovely house. congratulations.

It looks like you have found a very beautiful home! Due to the size of your windows and a lack of view(?), I think that white plantation shutters would be a great option.

I would wait until you have the furnishings and windows addressed before worrying about the wall space. It may be once the shutters are hung that you don't need anything in those spaces

I agree with the above comment that curtain panels would look great. I wouldn’t put anything in either side of the tv. By the way, can you lower the TV? Not sure why they hung it that high, but it’s not necessary. Also, more unsolicited advice, sorry, I think those pendants over the island need to be a little lower and a little bigger.

Try some window treatments on both windows on either side of the fireplace. Once you have that done and all the other furnishings in the room done you shouldn't need to hang paintings or anything else on the walls beside the TV.
