Painting cabinets is an expensive and/or very time consuming endeavor. Wood is coming back...I think your cabinets are beautiful and wouldn’t paint them. A home paint job (even with all the right prep and good quality paint) will not hold up as well as a factory finish. IMO if you are going to spend the money on new counters and backsplash then spend the money to have the cabinets professionaly painted by an actul cabinet refinisher not a regular house painter. I do not think the average homeowner has the skills ot the tools to do a professional looking job

Your cabinets are gorgeous the way they are! Just get new hardware!

Your cabinets are fine and painting would not uograde your kitchen in any way and would probably decrease the value since paint is far less durable and attractive than wood.

Change the hardware and be done. Use the money for other stuff you need or just save it.

If you simply feel money is burning a hole in your pocket, change the backsplash or even the floors as they are far less attractive than your lovely cabinets. But personally I would do nothing except minimal cosmetic changes like new knobs and pulls.

If you really dislike the color then by all means look for a reputable finisher that has references and you can visit the jobs they have done.

In my opinion your cabinets are beautiful and you can update their look with a new floor, counter, backsplash, hardware, new wall paint, and new lighting.

Which ever way you go with please go with what you like.

If you go with blues on cabinetry please pick a blue that has grey as well. It will tone down the blue and give you a little more mileage.

A professional paint job will cost almost the same as getting new cabinets. If you want to change the counters and backsplash anyway, I would just gut the whole kitchen. That way you can change the layout while you are at it. If I were you, I would definitely eliminate the island cook top which can be very dangerous, especially if you have kids in the house. I would also reconfigure the wall ovens so that I had a counter top landing space right by it (again, for safety and ease of use too), and ensure that I had good landing space next to the stove as well.
