Wallpaper that looks like fake brick? No. Nowhere.

I don't think it's weird, if that's what you like and want to see in those two rooms.

It looks like a fun paper. Like the colors in it.

Why in the world would you use that fake brick in a small powder room?

Your only chance of that being a bit believable is if people can't get a good close look at it. And yet you're proposing to use it in a small room where people will get nothing but a close look at it. I can see the obvious 8-row repeat from here; it's going to be glaringly obvious close up, alone, with nothing to do for a few minutes than stare at the wall (unless you have good magazines in there).

And bricks do not belong in bathrooms--even real bricks. You want easily cleanable surfaces.

You can do whatever you like but IMO fake brick wallpaper will always look like fake brick. As mentioned there are 1000s of amazing wallpaper patterns why this one.I like powder rooms to have some drama and i use colors or wallpaper that I would never use in other spaces in a PR because the time spent in there is minimal.

Definitely no to fake brick. I'm not a fan of wallpaper in any room, especially a small powder room. Trends come and go and wallpaper is a hassle to change out when you tire of the pattern.

If you like it, then you should do it. Right or wrong doesn't make any sense to me when it comes to personal taste. What makes you happy is all that matters, not the opinion of others.

I don't think that fake brick wallpaper, its intention is to pass for a real brick. It's far from pretending to be a true trompe-l'œil or something like that.

I see it a bit similar to as when I was a platinum blonde for a year-my intention wasn't to pass for a real blond. With my black eyebrows lol. It was just fun to play with it for a while. Put a different frame.

(gave me also plenty of possibilities to check all the stigmas I heard about..yeah..they were there lol)

A fake brick wall in a bathroom is a definite no. But 3-D brick like wallpaper looks awesome when done right in certain rooms like your bar and living room. Don’t count out brick patterns in more appropriate rooms because we did it in our bar and it looks amazing.

I would appreciate people telling me my choice is a "no no". People are here to get opinions/advice. Even though Tasha never asked about the choice of wallpaper she is getting additional advice/opinions which may help her out. If she doesn't want to take the advice she doesn't have to.

I think the brick comes across as an architectural element and not wall paper.

So I vote YES in the both rooms. Additionally your could add a jazzy wall paper to either room also for varied colorful looks. Win/win.
