The one on the left will not work. The one on the right could possibly work if you went with matching grout. It's hard to tell what color it actually is.

I don't think they work together. I see a lot of grey on the backsplash with hints of blue. The counters veins seems more of a grey brown. I like the shape but not the color.

Anyone else have some ideas what backsplash to match the Cambria Brittanicca counters with ?
I will have stainless steel appliances and have white cabinets that go to ceiling.

Kitchen doesn’t get much light but is open to family room and breakfast area. Those rooms are painted in requisite gray. Will have medium dark hickory floors in all areas .

Did you look at photos on Houzz? Just put in Brittanicca as the search word.

There seems to be lots of boring white subway and many who used the same Brittanicca for the back splash.

These are a bit "bolder" ...

Agree with Filip, too much grey. The third picture chispa posted looks nice. Countertop is so pretty I would keep it simple, meaning not a lot of movement In the tile choice. Did you consider using the quartz on the backsplash? Can’t see the whole kitchen but you might have the perfect set up for that.

Suzanne , I ended up using a white glass tile - even after all the warnings on this site . The person I was working with said it would not change colors with the right installer - That’s what i understood. The sample was perfect! Not too bright of a white but a great complement to the counter.
Once installed it takes on a different hue depending on time of day.
I like the sample Chiapa ( ?) showed and here is a picture.
Here is a picture of my backsplash too. It looks ok but not what I expected - since we have been without a kitchen for over a year we don’t want to remove - keeping it and if i really dislike it we can change it - hopefully.
I really don’t mind it - just don’t like when it takes a blue hue since counter top seems warmer.

Here is also a pic of sample and how it actually looks installed. It wasn’t a cheap tile - I just don’t think there is anyway around this happening with white glass tile.
I love the shape and size and I do like it - just don’t love it. Maybe once we have hardware on cabinets it will look a little better

I posted other things on backsplash . I had the hardest time picking something. I really like the arabesque and loved a darker one and glad I did not use it. A white tile works great for what I wanted - (maybe just not a white glass tile).
I thought maybe I should have used one called Siberian pearl ? i think that’s the name but I don’t think I would have liked it. Love this shape and size -just needed the right shade of white.

Oh now I see what you mean! My kitchen is really dark right now with the granite and cherry cabinets even though there are windows there are trees that block the north light so I need to go lighter. I have a designer through the kitchen company I'm using but like you, I don't want to make a choice and then not be 100% happy with it bc this kitchen reno is costing a lot more than I had in my budget. I was originally going to keep the cherry cabinets with the Britanicca and an inexpensive backsplash and be done. Husband loves the counter choice and feels that the cabinets will still be too dark so now we are going with painting the cabinets, new sink, new faucet, new lights, cutting down the bar area and the Cambria have put us triple the budget.

The past few weekends I have been on a search for backsplashes. Today one of the designers at a different store showed me one that she said would be beautiful. It is Water Jet 925 Antique Arabescato with clear white glass (on the edges). Do a google search and see if you think it would go with the Brittanica. I don't have a Brit sample to match the tile so I am going by iPhone pictures. The new kitchen is located 6 hours away so I only have weekends to search (house will be our retirement home but right now I need to keep working to pay for the renovations we are doing). I am telling you this is so stressful.

Oh that is nice ! You don’t want my advice, lol. I am no designer - that’s for sure ! Hopefully someone can chime in.
I wanted something with a little pizzaz - i thought this would have a little more gloss to it - I don’t know if it’s the grout or what - but our backsplash - to me - is just eh.
I did have the designer at the tile store help me and I liked what they suggested - just didn’t come out how I imagined.

I don't know what the fascination with different backsplash is ...if you have a spectacular countertop , like you have , why not stick with the same material ? That would look stunning to my eyes. Most of the time , although many backsplashes are brilliant choices , they do not work with most really dramatic countertops ...or , they take away from the splendor of the unusual and make it look less interesting ...or even boring .
Just my thoughts on the seemingly endless backsplash questions ..
Those questions , to me , should have been asked and discussed at the latest when finalizing and buying the countertop . ...! ....that is , since it seems so very important yet it's only most often addressed AFTER the counter is installed ....almost like an afterthought ...! To me it makes no sense if you choose a dramatically and or gorgeous countertop . ...then...to me LESSSSSS is more !
