Replacing ceiling canopy on a lamp

I bought this lamp and want to change out the canopy part. I will have an electrician hard wire it, would they also handle that part? Here's what I've found:

I am also unsure if I've found the correct replacement part..I just want something that matches the lamp style more (ideally would be same as the part that is attached directly to the lamp). See attached photo.

The canopy kit you linked to is for a light fixture that hangs from a chain and are pretty universal. So if your new fixture uses a chain, you should be good to go.

We don't see a pic of the lamp you bought, just the canopy linked. Yes, that is something the electrician will also install for you.

It is a very simple DIY project as a rule but not sure what you are swapping. Many home improvement big box stores have a shelf dedicated to misc glass for ceiling mount fixtures.
