This is the house I am about to move into, so furniture is not staying. I need some help with the dangling chair rail in between the dining room and living room. I intend to paint the columns white and would like to paint the space under the chair rail white (in dining room) and add some framing/moulding. But, how do i end the chair rail in the middle of the wall?
