Basement family room

I have a brick wall in my basement family room with three “cut-out” areas. They have mirrored tiles in them right now. I had wallpaper over them from 1993 and need to do something to update the room. The rest of the room is painted paneling. What can I do here?

I would apply masking tape over the tiles to prevent the pieces from going all over, and start chipping them off...that's assuming you don't want them. Be sure to wear protective eye goggles and heavy gloves.
