Generally, you can use one of the treads as a landing piece especially in the front of the landing to have matching trim. If you need more coverage behind it then you should try going to a lumber supplier for Red Oak plywood or landing material. There are you really good tube videos on "RetroTread installation" but they are not from our company so if you put that into a web search you should be able to find it.
