What color to paint water shutoff cabinet in basement

The valve to shut off the water to the entire house is located in bedroom in my basement. The previous owner put an oak cabinet front on it for easy access. I am painting that bedroom and painting the woodwork in the room white. I am going to paint the cabinet front too, but not sure if I should paint it the same color as the wall or white like the rest of the woodwork in the room. It is eye level in one of the things you see when you walk into the bedroom, but is on a small diagonal wall so I can't put a picture over it. Thanks for your suggestions.

What color are you painting the wall? The easiest thing might be to paint the whole room the same color. Second choice, paint to match wall. Third choice, get a flush door and wallpaper. Can you see the access door in this bathroom?

Wow what a great camouflage! Most of my house is Accessible Beige from SW with Alabaster trim. I already painted the room and the decided to paint the trim white, so I probably won't wallpaper, but that is great!

Thanks. It was making lemonade when we couldn't move the meter. :) Go with the beige and it will be low-key enough for what is presumably a guest space...
