I love our Lazy Boy. We designed it specifically for our room (actually a designer comes out free of charge and does it!), so we did a chaise for me and an electric recliner for him, we were able to pick our fabric, etc. We have had it 3 years now and it looks brand new. We have a dog and 2 very messy teenagers.

Look at Room and Board. Great quality, made in the USA and more fabrics than you'd ever want to choose from. Check out Crypton fabrics. They are bombproof.

A random option, but look at Arhaus. I frequent a very active online forum in the dc area, and arhaus is the hands down favorite for quality sectionals. We ended up with one years ago by chance (happened to walk into the store when we were looking, and got a very hard sell with a very good price) and have to agree that it was an incredible quality sofa. And the fabric we chose was totally washable, so I used to put it in the washer and air dry it and it seriously looked (and mostly felt) like it was brand new even at ten years old. Ultimately gave it away when we moved and redecorated in a different color scheme, and were bummed we couldn’t do another one because they tend to run bigger - which didn’t work in our new, smaller home that needed apartment dimensioned furniture.
