I do find grubs occasionally but no snails. There are slugs around here but I've never found any in the daylily beds. When my daughter some over usually on Saturdays and brings 2 of her dogs, one especially goes around the yard and pulls out and eats the grubs. They are not allowed in the flower beds but I assume this still keeps the whole population down.

I have seen snail shells too and wondered about it. The last 2 summers have seemed wetter, enough that my little goldfish pond has gotten a little low but not enough that I have needed to add water to it. Normally I have to add water at least 3 or 4 times during the summer.

I have seen both grubs and snails. I found grubs when I was preparing the bed extension, and something has been in there, likely fter them. I have to put down some snail repellent every year, or the blooms reflect their presence.

I have snails, slugs and grubs. Sigh. I've been fighting them for years but never conquer them.

I see slugs occasionally, they seem to prefer my hosta. I find grubs sometimes when I dig. Here grubs seem to like turf, had the lawn treated this year for the first in a very long time. I never see snails.
