Paint Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Bathroom vanity color

We have a builder grade oak cabinet in our guest bathroom. I'm trying to figure out what color to paint it. Have been looking at using Annie Sloan Chalk paint.

The wall color will be SW Rainwashed. The formica countertop is light beige and sink is white. Wish we could replace the sink and counter top but its not the budget right now. Cabinet color suggestions??

That color of gray reads pretty blue and makes your counter look very baby pink - kind of like a nursery. Stock laminate at Home Depot or Lowe’s is really cheap and easy to DIY. I would do that long before I painted the cabinet if that was my wall color of choice.

@smit2380 thanks for the tidbit! When looking at the paint color I didn’t think it’d come across so blue and heavens I don’t need a baby pink counter. Maybe it’s back to the drawing board for a paint color.

If you are going to keep the top.. maybe a dark shade of blue..
