What is wrong with my Miho Satsuma?

This tree has been in the ground about 2and a half years. It bore fruit for the first time last year, about four or five maybe six, I was away at the time. This year it is loaded with fruit but some are turning yellow and some are falling off the tree, the ones that stay on the tree are small, have developed a brown spot which looks like fungus, but there are some which are nice and green and large. I am guessing the tree has too many satsumas and cannot support them all.

    Miho is an early season Satsuma (vs for example Owari which will not ripen for another 4-5 weeks around here), and along the upper gulf coast should start to ripen around now (end of September) with harvest extending through November. I ate my first Miho off of the tree I planted last spring on Friday (on the 8b/9a line). It was still mostly green, though was ripe to eat and only slightly tart. Color change in Satsumas is caused primarily due to cooler weather not due to actual ripeness, so in a warmer climate it is possible to have green Satsumas that are fully ripe. Satsumas may not perform well in 9b, they are generally considered more suitable for cooler climates, and thrive in 9a, and the southern part of 8b along the upper gulf coast.
