Moved into town about 1 1/2 years ago. Had troubles finding a garden space last year and due to heat and some injuries didn't have a garden last year.

The former owners made a box and made it look like there was a gardening area, but it was filled with construction rubble from having to replace a french drain that they tore out from a neighbor's property!

Had some guys come in today and dig out the whole raised bed and re-fill it! They confirmed it was all construction rubble and some mystery boxes covered up + a lot of legos?!?!

Now I have a 10x20 area that I cleared of some diseased roses in ground (we had a great crop of maters, eggplant, peppers and the largest zuk plant I've grown in 18 years of gardening!) AND a 4x8 raised bed with great soil!

I'm DOWNSIZING! LOL

Oh, I think I have a spot for possibly a new asparagus bed (I don't know, it takes so long to get established) or maybe some artichokes?
