Best is a relative term. Best what, power, features, price or reliability? There are more categories, but I think you get my point.

I want to know most about the power, features and reliability. I shouldn't say price is no object but would be willing to pay somewhat more for a better product.

Right now BSH probably builds the best induction cooktops out there. You can find them in the Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau names here. The platforms are all basically the same electronics packages with just more bells and whistles as you go up in brands.
