I personally would go with the lighter tile, the cabinets are darker, the lighter tiles will make these pop more.

I lean towards #2. Definitely not #3.

Thank you all. Under cabinet lighting install was delayed so once that is in hopefully that will help me make a decision. #3 is not my favorite for this project, although it really is pretty in person. The guy at the tile place insisted I take it, if only to reinforce my thought on one of the lighter colors in the granite and for comparison.

#3 doesn't match. #1 is a bit too bright. I like #2 best. An elongated 3x8 or 3x9 is a more modern look though.

Interesting how light and position can change the look of the darker one (#3 in first photo) so much

I took blondelle's advice and laid them down on the areas next to the cooktop and turned on the hood lights (still waiting for the rest of the UCL parts!) and it did indeed change the look a bit - although I'm not sure I'm any less conflicted, #1 and #2 are still my favorites of these with a leaning toward #2. I may need to go to another store and get more/different samples as well as waiting for the UCL installation. Any other suggestions are welcomed!

I think either of the two left ones will work. My preference is the one on the far left. It seems brighter.

Don’t make a final decision with them flat on the stone though, that distorts the look. Prop them on the wall with the lights on.
