There are so many decisions to be made that it might be worth your while to hire an interior designer to point you in the right direction. He/she doesn't need to do everything but maybe just a few hours of his/her time could be helpful.

BM ballet white,SW oyster white, SW shoji white. SW alabaster is my go to trim and ceiling color. I love a natural linen tufted headboard, amazon has a great one at a good price with nail head trim. Hard to help on the rest without more info on furniture colors, styles, budget, etc.

Thanks, Lauren, I'll take a look at those colors! We're literally startching from scratch, which ia what makes it so overwhelming. We had a modern farmhouse style decor prior, and since everything will be new construction I'm going a bit more modern now. I like blacks and whites, if it helps our bathroom with be heavy in Carrara tile.

If you have new builds around you, go look at models. So helpful as they’re designed so beautifully. Although hiring a designer might make sense for you! Good luck!

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Best wishes for the upcoming renewal. But regarding the barn doors for the bathroom. . . . Generally barn doors are not considered the best solution for bathrooms because they allow light, sound and pungent air to flow around. Go for a swing door.

Agree about the barn door. Also so trendy that it’s likely to look pretty dated soon (if not already).

There will be a swing door that goes to the toilet, so there will be a little added privacy there, but I see what you're saying about it looking dated soon. Thank you!

Since you are building consider a pocket door for the bathroom. You will end up with more wall space
