Potted young fruit trees, put in garage in winter?

I have some avocado seedlings 12 inches tall, 1 year old loquat tree in 2 gallon pots, and newly rooted fig trees from cutting. Should I keep them in the garage in the winter? It's North California, winter average low is 42 degree, garage is not heated but has a south facing window.
