Here are a few options:

Hi! You may think about adding exterior lanterns on the side of your door or depending on height, one single hanging fixture to create a great focal point. The recessed lights are great so that you have the ability to turn on more light if needed while also using the lanterns.

We are the oldest copper gas lantern company in the U.S. and hand make every one of our fixtures in New Orleans, LA. Our lanterns can be made using natural gas, propane, or electric. We have hundreds of different lighting combinations and offer a complimentary design service.

From your picture, the French Quarter lantern would be a great option for your home. Feel free to email us more plans and measurements of your space and we will be happy to make specific style and scale recommendations.

Happy updating!
