So we are going to be putting in recessed lighting . we plan on pputting in 6 lights. Two each section. Leaving out two above the television. should we put put in the two lights above the tv to balance the room? The lighrs lights will be on a dimmer. More importantly we want to put a gan fan I n this room. If we out put it on the beam than we need to do some adjustments to the beam itself since there are two lips on each side of the beam. The beam is Only 7 inches across but fan has a base that is 6 inches. We we need to adjust the beam so it could fit. Our other option would be to place the fan above above the couch in the second quadrant on the ceiling itself in line with the tv. This would make the fan off center in the room And fireplace But still in the same line as the tv. Would that be weird?Any thoughts?Where should we put the fan?
