Hi,

I'm new to the forums here. We recently had water damage in our storage and now have to fix our dining chairs. The wood frame seems fine, thankfully, but the bases with upholstery, need to be replaced. How do I go about finding the right size plywood? I would like to DIY the upholstery part, but not sure what to do about the plywood base itself. If they are sold readymade, where can I find them? If not, would a place like Home Depot cut them out to dimension? If not, is it easy enough to do it myself? what tools will I need? will the cheapest cut it? Thank you!!
