Hello! We recently moved and I’m in need of ideas. My preference would’ve been to have white trim and hardwood floors, which we don’t, so I’m trying to figure out design and color scheme with what we have going on. Currently, adding hardwood and changing trim aren’t in the budget.
We plan to paint the fireplace this weekend likely in SW gauntlet gray color and perhaps the walls at some point in agreeable gray but open to suggestions. Also to mention - we get a lot of natural light in our living room.
Mainly wondering about ways to “warm” up the appearance with a different kitchen table, entry rug and table, layout of couch, etc. We will likely make purchases bit by bit but just have no idea where to start. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Looked online and found the design style “Transitional” fits my taste most if that helps!
