We are trying to maximize the storage for the space we have...we wish there could be more storage!

The door leads to the back porch/back yard. It will be french doors despite the drawing showing 1 door.

Can you post a floorplan with dims? You'll get more suggestions if you can provide more detailed info.

Is there some reason you don't want the sink/DW in the peninsula? Mine is in island and I love it. How deep is the peninsula counter?

When you do a pantry 11-12" shelf depth is the more usable. Beyond that depth and things are lost. You can add basket shelves to the doors to double your prime pantry accessible storage.

I don't care for the DW, sink, stove layout. Also the fridge is to far away from the cooking area. Seems to be no "work triangle". I'd rethink this plan

I agree with moving the sink to the peninsula. Otherwise you have a long counter that isn't going to get used, and you don't have any space to prep between sink and range.

Have you used an under-counter MW before? I was thinking that the space under the glass cabinets would be ideal for a countertop MW (a small one), which would give you 2 more drawers for storage.

If you can split your tall pantry cabinets more at waist level, you may be able to add a pull-out (like a cutting board), so you'd have a landing space by the fridge.

Can you post some dimensions? I am thinking this must not be as long, stretched-out a space as it appears on the renderings, but it's hard to tell.

I have micro under counter and I like it. Mine sits on shelf, not built it. We already have had to replace the one we bought 4 years ago because the door broke.
