ID, PLEASE? Crazy volunteer.

So, I have this ... flower growing out of my baby palms. It's a stand that is only a year old - 24" tall and not a normal inflorescence. There is no leaves, straps or anything else green that comes up. This is the 4th one, and I'm baffled. It's presumably a psuedanthium of one type or another...but what the heck, and where did it come from? These (palm) babies came from seeds off my mother tree that had to be removed. and went into virgin potting soil.

Any help is greatly appreciated. the flower head is roughly 3" across.

Thanks!

Barbie~
