Looks great! Where did you hide “the box?” And do you know if I can get the proprietary cable in a longer length? We had our wires buried and they lead to a closet that’s not very close by, and decided on The Frame pretty late in the game. Now all that planning went to waste because the cable will not reach! And as far as I can tell, I can’t get a longer cable.

@hemina, this project was similar to yours as the client decided on the FrameTV late in the process, and all thecabling was installed to a remote closet too. If you look closely at the 2 before pictures you’ll see we had to go back and cut it a larger recessed back box to the right of the electrical outlet. This back box just barely holds the OneConnect box and an additional recessed electrical receptacle. The back box is about 14” (stud-stud) wide and the back box cover (shown in pic) wouldn’t fit in the final install. The outlet you see in the picture isn’t used either because you can’t get the tv to sit flat on the wall without a recessed electrical outlet. You can buy a longer OneConnect cable from Samsung and locate the OneConnect box in your closet or have a large back box cut in that can hold the box. Also, I believe Samsung redesigned the OneConnect box for 2018 versions of the FrameTV so I’d check the dimensions. This was the 2017 version.

Thanks @Integrated Media Inc...we did have to have them replace with a recessed outlet too. We were given the option of burying the box behind the tv, but I believe you need to plug any components, llike a DVD player into this box, right? Plan ahead those of you looking to buy this tv!

This is a great installation. Can you share the specifications or link to the backbox you used?

can you please share the width of the wall that the TV is on? I'm planning a 65" above the fireplace too,.and trying to figure out the dimensions. thank you!!
