I bought a 1950's rambler about 4 years ago and the kitchen needs additional updating.

Original fronts are warped and the old drawers rub to much.

New drawers will have new track glides and flat fronts & the new cabinet fronts will be shaker so it matches the existing ones on the other side of kitchen.
I'd like to modernize the apron above the sink and remove the quirky corner/ non functional shelves.

In place I'm thinking one or two long shelves across the cabinet or get a nice pendant light.

I will also be wanting to have tile backsplash.

Kitchen faces West so I believe the cabinets white because the vinyl plank floor is gray, taupe and off white coloring which blends well with the countertops.

Any input would be appreciated.
