How to transform from attic exactly opposite

I absolutely love this design! I have a spare attic room that is painted white with a completely flat floor. I was wondering the best way to transform it to look like this. Thank you

The ceiling of this room is old barn wood from the homeowners family land. The walls are just Sheetrock with a smooth texture and then painted and glazed. The bed is a platform that was built on site. The ledge around it has hinged tops. It was a fairly simple design. You could probably show this picture to a contractor and they could recreate it to fit your space. I collected the pillows from different stores and the lights above the bed are from World Market. I hope that helps give you a jumping of place. Thank you for the comments and interest in my work. Best of luck!

Great job, Amy! We are artistic types and want a crow's nest that everyone, including our five-year-old, will love, and this is very inspiring. I also love any excuse to now decorate with my real favorite colors, including magenta, turquoise, tangerine, purple, etc. Cheers.
