Since the last Houzz update I can't get to forums I hadn't bookmarked, so I haven't visited Smaller Homes where she was posting for a while, so I can't even go "looking" for her.

Bpath, the the change over to Houzz, Smaller Homes as we knew it, completely vanished. I still don't understand how an entire forum could be wiped out so quickly.

There were one or two posts from the regulars lamenting the changes and then....nothing.

Last time Lavender posted, her DH was recovering and her mom moved in with them.

Maddie, yes that is what is now Smaller Homes. However, it used to be a group of regulars that talked about everything, similar to our Home Decorating conversations. Sometimes we would share a smaller home type problem. Often newbies would pop in for advice on small home living, but for the most part it was conversation about our daily lives.

We even had a Tuesday Tea that Lavender Lass started. We would try to check in on Tuesday to share what we news etc.

I miss it!

I just got a notice that there was a post! How is everyone? I've been very busy writing books and my husband is doing better. He has neuropathy and that will probably never go away, but he is out of the wheelchair and back home! I'm so very glad because he was not expected to do even that well.

I miss my floor plans, but I do have old Victorian houses in many of my stories and the characters are remodeling a mansion in one series. LOL

I've been back a few times on the Smaller Homes forum, but mostly just to say 'hi'. I hope you're all having a wonderful autumn! :)

Lavender, it was really funny (to me...). I joined Facebook a couple of years ago, and I was adding my neighbors (across the street) as friends, and there YOU were!!
