Hard to say. Overwatering? More information?

That was my initial thought too. i hadn’t watered in quite awhile and soil was dry today so I watered. Some leaves or dark and brown and have brown patches. I also see tiny black specs? Kind of looks like mold or mildew? Thanks

Not enough water? You don’t say if you’re keeping it moist but not too wet. How much sun, how long you’ve had the plants and whether they wee growing well before or if you just planted them. Does your container have good drainage holes. Any history of care might help. Could they have been nipped by frost?

It looks as if it has sooty mould which grows on the honeydew excreted by aphids and other sap sucking pests. I’d say you have an infestation.

Zone 9 and no frost. They were planted this spring in plastic pots from Lowe’s has drainage and i did have mealy bugs at one point. The soil may have been kept too wet but not lately. I have used neem oil a few times. Thank y’all. They are planted with coleus that are not doing well either. Slow growth and leaves falling.

In the last picture, I believe that I spy some scale insects on the stem.

I think so too, rhizo. Which would explain the honeydew and sooty mould.

I repotted in fresh soil and sprayed down ivy plants and then sprayed water/alcohol and I’ll repeat

the spray in a few days. Hopefully, that will help!

That wont affect scale.
