Do you sleep in your bathroom now?

I would give advice, but I would not do this to anyone (other than construct it so the bathroom can easily be enclosed in the future when you realize your mistake).

I would add more walls and reduce the library/reading nooks by one. And I would not have a chair where one could monitor sink activities.

What were you expecting your MBR design to look like?

I understand wanting to have an open plan. You should be able to make lots of changes and keep your roof trusses. Is it important to you to have the tub visible from the bedroom? I would not have a chair in the walkway into the bedroom either. If you had a wall along the bathroom, the bed could even move to the bathroom wall and you could have a few chairs where the bed is.

Where in the bedroom would the TV be placed?

Seriously, is this a master bedroom for 2 people? If so, what if one of you needs to use the bathroom in the night? How will you wash your hands without waking the other? What if one person needs to get up really early and shower or gets food poisoning and is running to the bathroom all night? Insane.

Your master bedroom seems really long to make having the bed on the right wall work well. Could you move the closet and/or the bathroom to that end and still make your view/balcony work right? The bump out could even be a great location for a tub with a TV at the foot of the tub! Then you can watch whatever you want conveniently without worrying about what a spouse is watching. If that doesn't work, could you place a 2nd TV at the foot of the tub (rearranging the bathroom some) so that you can still have a wall there?

I personally love the view at the side of the bed. I think having the view 20 feet from the head of the bed is a long distance to enjoy it from. I think moving the closet or bathroom to the end is the best way to stop the master suite from looking like a maze.
