How many roots? Is it alot of roots or just a few little roots? Figs won't need much light until they have a good amount of roots and some leaves emerging. Any way you can put it by a window? I'm going to prune my fig tree within the next few weeks and I'm going to try and root a cutting in November, a couple late January and the rest in Spring depending if my first few are successful or not.

arivella, I would wait until the cup is full of roots before transplanting, when transplanting be very very careful not to brake off the roots.
