I actually don’t like square tile but photos are a must.I also would not do white grout on a floor ever.

I would go with the hexagon flooring. However, you might want to consider picking a darker grout for the flooring. It doesn't have to be the same grout as the subway tiles as long as it coordinates well. I think there's a universal rule on this board as that is to NEVER use white grout on the flooring! Oh, and I love your tub!

Installing large format tile, especially 24 x 24, is much more difficult than it looks. With so few tiles to adjust, each of them has to be put on a very good substrate, solid, flat and preferably with a membrane under them to help keep them from cracking. Smaller tiles are much easier to work with.

Ask your tile installer about his experiences with large tiles and try to see some of his previous work in person if possible. Photos are great but they are of the prettiest places, not the awkward corners, bowed walls, uneven floors that lurk in every house. If you are going DIY, go for easy and skip the contrasting grouts and busy patterns which will highlight even the smallest area that doesn't line up just perfectly
