Denise I hear you, at my local hydroponic store they have big saucers and do you know they cost more than a 20 gl container, crazy.

For citrus I am going to 15 gl squat containers,if possible, bought a dozen of them already, so next spring I got my work cut out for me. Heavy duty saucers are much cheaper for the 15,s.

I have used cafeteria food trays, food salad pans Aluminum buffet serving pans. Anything I can buy at the Thrift store. $1 each to free.

Good idea Steve, never thought of that.

I still have a couple oil drip pans, they are made of rubber, very flexible, on occasion I have used them. The only problem with them, they fill up with rainwater and collect MisQuito’s Don’t even know how to spell them.

Bob, buy Mosquito Dunks at Home Depot/Lowes and crumble some in the pot. They will disappear very fast! I also crumble them in the soil in my pots and it takes care of gnats, too :)

Look for water heater pans. They even have a drain plug. Now if I can find large rectangular heavy duty pans I will be happy.
