Please help with a coordinating rug
I have an L shaped family room dining room combo. Looking for a rug in the family room that would match.. Not sure if a round/rectangular is best?? And my real dilemma is the Color/style . Hard to match my dining room rug, which I love. My husband wants to be able to lay on the floor with the dog. Thanks so much for any advice!!

8 years agoHi again. Really nice rooms. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday; chaos reigns. So quickly before today runs away with me (I'm in S Africa and it's morning here), I think a light grey rug with a fluid pattern would work beautifully. The contrast with the geometrical b/w will make the living area seem all the cosier, and pick up on the more traditional style of the fireplace. This one is good, I think.

I had thought before I saw the pics that colour would be good, but I love the way your red chest zings against the neutrals, and wouldn't like to detract from that.- 8 years ago
