Thinking of getting sheers for my dining room. It has a funny bump out window. Am I to mount the curtain rod to the perpendicular walls, then with a support in the middle, or will this look like a shower curtain? It seems odd to have a finial right up against a wall.

If I used a french return on the other window in the room, which is normal, will that look ok? I think it would be better than one with finials and one without.
