hi! I have a work in progress home and our next upgrade is new dining chairs. our home has been slowly worked on over the past 6 or 7 years and so we have a bit of a mix of old and new trends. I need some chairs that don't busy it up (we lack storage and so the room can feel full sometimes being open plan)
I have cats who suck so upholstery, leather or any sort of scratch prone material is out. we are using hand me downs at the moment and I loath them. not sure whether to do a low backed wood mid century modern or a composite or lucite type of thing and go more modern. the table itself is a farm style light grey with yellow undertones and a matching bench. as you can see in the pictures we have a black and white kitchen. white brick fireplace, white closet doors opposite the table.

any suggestions would be appreciated, bern indecisive about this forever
