hello again. I actually really like the white curtain. Is it the white you dislike or the pattern??. I am not fond of small bath mats. would rather see them hidden and draped over the tub when not in use. Imagine how the white curtains will reflect in a larger mirror. What did you think of my idea of using a lovely runner in the bathroom? What style are you going for? classic, modern, vintage........?? let us know and I will look for a few ideas. Putting the pattern in a larger floor carpet would anchor the room and with the white shower curtain your room will appear larger. Add a fabulous mirror.

cc a tip: when you have smaller rooms you want your eyes to readily move around the room and not stop. anything that stops your eye from continuing on will make your room seem smaller.

This room could also handle an art piece in gentle colors and frame. Nothing too jarring.

To facilitate this, lower your towel bar to height of vanity and hang picture at least 6" - 8" above towel bar..,,

You will never go wrong purchasing classic art prints, ie renoir , monet etc. something lovely,

sorry CC but my eye goes right to that smallish turquoise rug, and that's not what I would want to catch my attention as I enter the room. If it was a softer shade of aqua, it would be better.

these are some of my favorites. I use this style in my own bathrooms. no fringe. Care..I take them outside and use a hose and soap..then rinse and put in sun to dry. I also use my power washer. :). When they are multicoloured they don't require much upkeep, especially when used in conjunction with a normal bath mat. I only do mine about once a year in the summer. You can also run a floor steamer over them periodically to refresh them.

would you consider this or is it too much..i love this mirror. a bathroom is a small space u can really glam up. hoping to encourage u to think outside a normal bathroom mirror. I will post some other ideas also. most mirrors can be hung horizontally or vertically.

Is the reason you don't want to move it just because of cost? If you have a few other jobs around your house for an electrician to do and you bundle them into one trip charge, it might not be very much. If the electrician moves the outlet then you just have to patch the spot where it is now, and you won't have to do a perfect job at the patch bc the new mirror will cover it.

CC one thing to note re: carpets. You will notice that most of the carpets I suggest have minimal/or no negative space. I.e. white or beige. They are mostly allover the same depth of color. If you get accustomed to looking at them, you will see the difference. A rug like this doesn't show soil as quickly and allows for more choice in decor/towels.

Great job picking a new cabinet and the mirrors look good. Can't see the light fixture, but it certainly appears to be bright enough. I would place more items on the vanity...soap dispenser, tooth brush holder, tray with disposable hand towels, etc. do you have any artwork on the walls? Also a big rug to fill the space in front of cabinet. Christopher had some good suggestions on that. Wouldn't worry about it looking too modern, it doesn't have to be the same as remainder of house. Have you considered a new window treatment? Something without a cord hanging nod maybe in a print to add some color.

You have pink-tan flooring, an orangey wood vanity, white trim and gray walls. The idea is to unite the color palette. The orange wood vanity is the problem. I would paint the vanity to match the door and trim. It will require two coats of enamel paint. Then get a window curtain or Roman shade in a print fabric with the gray, the floor color, the white and maybe a touch of black in the print. This fabric will be the unifying factor. Then buy a washable bathroom rug or two to match (as closely as possible) the wall color. As a final touch, hang a piece or two of glass-framed art in the bathroom. Buy some new towels. And don’t leave your ring next to the sink!

Perfect spot for art! I don't agree that it would have to be hung high. Few inches above the towel bar and make sure it's large enough to fill the space. I would go with a wood tray.

Trivia info: when I took my ring in for repair--the setting on one side of the wrap had fallen off--the jeweler asked if I slept with my rings on. Yes. He suggested I not--it can weaken the setting over time, and voila--part of the setting goes bye-bye.

Something with a bit of orange would look good if your orange flowers are a permanent item on your vanity.

white vanity with modern knobs will kill it

if you go for modern remodeling you will be doing the best choice, modern is fancy calm and sometimes easy to work with

Hello CC. My thought still is to go for a colorful runner. please re-read my earlier posts on rugs. Move the towel bar to level of vanity and add an art piece above. Keep art 6 - 8 " above the towel bar. splurge on your favorite color in bath towels. My choice would be a wooden tray. Similar colour to your living room floor. Black is a nightmare in a bathroom as it shows every speck of dust and hair. The wood tray could be switched out to living room coffee table once in a while. You only require 2 or 3 items on tray. (a few pebbles look nice on a tray and add must needed texture.

All of this will bring the room together and warm it up.

oh, and center the art above the towel bar. Make sure it is at least as wide as towel bar. Nothing too

small. You want impact. Maybe just hold up your Kitchen/living room art and see what you think. Art piece could have same color wood frame as tray. Think outside the box re art... you could also use wall hanging, masks, art on wood etc. good luck.

Purchase a clear cord cleat to wrap up your window blind cords (hardware store)

If you don't want or can't fit a tray on your counter, any of the below would add the warmth you require. Keep the flowers and just add another piece.

I would do a warmer vase and a much taller arrangement on the counter between the two mirrors. Use up more of that wall space between the two mirrors.
