Yes, the curtains and wall color are lovely, so send a closeup of the curtains. I can see a luxurious mustard throw folded at the end of the current bedding--easy peasy.

would a grey quilt with a check gold and cream folded comforter at bottom of bed and those gold pillows give a new look....any possibly cream night stand with mercury glass tall lamp for sparkle add to the look......just suggesting?

Thanks! I like those ideas. I have a mercury glass lamp to repurpose and think I will go white or grey comforter and pillows with appropriate accents

Why not go with white bedding and then add blue and gold/mustard yellow accents?

I'm another vote for keeping your drapes in that room! I would get a white quilt (I like the Pottery Barn Belgian flax linen diamond quilt because I like the neutral texture that isn't too modern or traditional - plus it's great to sleep under), and add pillows or other blue/gold accents as suggested above. Super easy!
